The What: mastHERclass is a day-long event with twelve mastHERs teaching small group applicable and tangible how-to's. Everything from beauty to travel to social media branding, event planning and a few things in between. Attendees will pay a one-time fee and will be able to choose their own adventure by self-selecting the four mastHERclasses they want to take. Our 2019 event SOLD OUT and we are planning 2020 as we speak. Take a look at the speakers from 2019 below and check back soon for 2020. The Deets: mastHERclass will take place in St Louis, Missouri at the Downtown Westin on Friday, March 6, 2020 from 9am to 5:30pm. Dre has fine-tuned her skills serving clientele including, COSMOPOLITAN, BLACK ENTERPRISE, COMPLEX, and talent including Olympic Gold Medalist Gabby Douglas, K. Michelle, Tyson Beckford, Jidenna, Tarana Burke and Omari Hardwick. Since 2014, Dre has also led thousands of young women nationwide through confidence-building workshops as an educator for the DoveⓇ Self-Esteem Project.

Co-founder of The Colored Girl, Tori is a visionary who is able to see the beauty in the simplest of things. A true artisan who draws outside of the lines. She has a passion for bringing awareness to the masses; by merging her conscious and creative sides.


Chris Miss Bright

mastHERclass: Finding Your Brand Voice

“Chris Miss”, is a multifaceted creative who was born and raised in Newark, NJ. Using her social media platforms, she openly shares her love for her son, her plight as a full-time self-employed black creative, the importance of inner-beauty and well-being, while inspiring others to unapologetically do the things they love. She is the founder of “The Art of Conversation”, an interactive series where all guests have an opportunity to voice their opinions and co-founder of “Black Girl Beach Day” a beach meet-up centered around girls of color promoting solidarity, inclusivity and sisterhood amongst all.

Samantha “Sam” Ramirez-Herrera is an entrepreneur, filmmaker, creative director, writer, mother, feminist and civil rights activist. While she wears many hats, at her core, Sam is a storyteller. Storytelling is the heartbeat of her company, (OTR), a creative content agency and digital magazine headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. At OTR, Sam has built a network of creative multicultural millennials who use their talents and technology to tell raw, uncensored and authentic stories to uplift marginalized communities and promote purpose-driven brands, nonprofits and change-makers.

Kenecia Lashae is a global citizen and business woman born in Texas. Upon graduating from Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas, with a B.A. in Business Marketing, Kenecia landed in New York City, where here dreams of becoming a professional makeup artist came to life. Passport 2 Pretty, a digital platform, was created from Kenecia’s expertise in beauty and her passion for travel. Kenecia’s world travels serve as inspiration for her role as a travel influencer, creative consultant, speaker, author and self-love advocate.
